If the arc continues to be welded after the arc is extinguished, the arc pit shall be retained and the arc shall be rapidly re ignited and then filled with the arc crater. If the end of the weld is reached, the arc shall be quenched after the crater has been filled.
It is important to swing the width, the dwell time at the end of the wobble, and the trajectory of the swing. Each swinging end must stay at the right time so that the edge is completely melted. It should pass through the weld line quickly because the center gets more heat than the edge. For low hydrogen type welding rod, the swing width shall not be greater than 2 times of the diameter of the steel core. While other electrodes, the swing width is 2 times the diameter of the steel core.
